SRE/DevOps Engineer

Role Summary:
The main responsibility is to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operation of the company’s IT infrastructure and network management systems, applying Site Reliability Engineering principles.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure or system engineering roles
- Hands-on experience managing servers, networks, and core IT services
- Experience operating and supporting Network Management Systems (NMS)
- Experience working in a 24/7 operational or mission-critical environment is an advantage
Specialized Knowledge:
- IT infrastructure architecture and operations
- Network Management Systems and network monitoring
- Anti-DDoS protection principles and solutions.
- DHCP and DNS server administration
- Server, storage, and virtualisation technologies
- Basic understanding of IT security and access control
Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and operational reliability
- Ability to manage multiple systems and priorities
- Structured and proactive approach to system maintenance
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Technical Competencies:
- Administration of Linux and/or Windows servers
- Experience with Network Management Systems (NMS)
- Operation of Anti-DDoS solutions
- Administration of DHCP and DNS servers
- Experience with storage systems and server infrastructure
- Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and ticketing systems
Infrastructure Technology stack:
- Virtualisation: VMware
- Containers: Docker
- High Availability: HAProxy
- Network Monitoring: Zabbix
- DevOps & Automation:
- CI/CD: Self-hosted GitLab, Jenkins
- Configuration Management: Ansible

- Programming Languages: Backend: Java, Ruby, Python; to a lesser degree, Erlang (select components), JavaScript, BeanShell
- Frontend: JavaScript + specific frameworks (Ruby On Rails)
- Databases: Relational: Oracle, MySQL/Mariadb/MaxScale, Postgres
- Analytical: ClickHouse
- Caching: Redis
- Data Processing: ETL: Pentaho + custom scripts
