QA Automation Engineer

TechRivo is a software consulting company based in Portugal, with customers in Europe and Australia, working on projects ranging from Fintech to Education.

We’re looking for a proactive and highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our global team.

Your mission will be to ensure that releases and change deliveries are safe, fast, and predictable. You will be instrumental in achieving our 2026 strategic goals, which include:

• Automation-First Approach
• AI-Enabled QA: Utilising AI to increase throughput and reduce manual administrative efforts
• Shift-Left Practices: Integrating QA early in the SDLC to reduce defects and rework
• Expanded Coverage

Key Requirements:

• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Extensive experience developing or maintaining automation frameworks, specifically using Playwright for UI and API testing
• AI-oriented mindset: Ability to investigate and integrate AI approaches into the QA pipeline
• Proficiency with technical infrastructure including Jenkins, Docker, and Zephyr
• Effective communicator: Able to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical colleagues
• Language skills: Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English (written and spoken)
• Familiarity with performance testing is considered an advantage
